BTD Player of the Week Honors for Week of February 7th

For the first time three NCAA National Collegate weekly honors are awarded in tandem this week.

Amanda Kessel and Meghan Agosta both recorded seven points last week and share the National Player of the Week honors. Kessel a Minnesota freshman forward from Madison, Wisconsin scored three goals and totaled seven scoring points in Minnesota's sweep over St. Cloud State. Kessel scored two goals and set up two others on Friday. Kessel followed up with a power-play goal and two assists on Saturday. Agosta scored three goals and totaled seven points as Mercyhurst swept
Wayne State. She scored three goals and totaled four points on Friday becoming the new NCAA Goals Leader. She also assisted on all three goals Saturday.

Hillary Pattenden and Monique Lamoureux-Kolls share the Defensive Player of the Week honors. Pattenden Made 31 saves on the weekend stopping 12 shots in a 6-2 win Friday
and 19 shots in a 3-1 win Saturday. Pattenden has won six straight games and became the college’s all-time wins leader as a result of the wins. Lamoureux-Kolls recorded two goals
and four assists for six points leading UND to a sweep of Ohio State. Had both Goals and two assists that included the game winner in overtime. Her other two assists came in Saturday's 3-2 win.

Kayley Herman and Victoria Vigilanti take home the honors as this weeks Goalie of the week honors for their fine performances. Vigilanti recorded a total of 76 stops during Quinnipiac's Games with Dartmouth and Harvard. Had her Career best seventh shutout stopping 35 shots
against Dartmouth. Followed 41 stops against Harvard a tough 3-2 loss. Herman Stopped 84 of 88 shots for UNH in a two game spilt with BU. Had a UNH record 52 saves, including 19 in the
second period & 21 in the third of UNH's 4-2 road win Thursday. Followed by stopping 32 shots during BU's 3-1 win on Saturday.

Yale forward Jenna Ciotti who scored five goals and one assist in three games last week is this weeks Rookie of the Week. Ciotti had the first Yale hat-trick since 2007 Friday while also picking up an assist. In addition had one goal in games Tuesday and Saturday. Was a combined +5 over her teams three games last week.

In the CIS honors Breanne George is this weeks National Player of the Week for her fine showing with Team Canada at the World University Games in Turkey. George helped lead Canada to the gold medal at the World University Games in Turkey. Tied for the team lead in points with 12, including 7 goals. Other CIS honors for the week go to Concordia goalie; Audrey Doyon-Lessard, Windsor freshman forward Candace Chevalier, and Laurier netminder Kristen Kilgallen.
