Knight, Friedman, Packer and Brian named POTW award winners

Following up an eight point at the Easton Showcase Hilary Knight was named this weeks BTD National Player of the Week award winner. Knight tallied four goals and four assists at the Easton Showcase. She led all players with 22 shots in the even and also finished the two games with a combined +6 plus/minus rating. Knights teammate Madison Packer also enjoyed success in St. Cloud. Packer started the second half of her
freshman year with a goal and two assists at the Easton Showcase. The Freshman from Birmingham, Michigan also made eight shots on goal and finished with a combined +2.

Being awarded for a career-high 79 saves in 2 games at Ohio State, Delaney Brian is this weeks National Goalie of the Week award winner. Brian held the Buckeyes to a combined 0-for-11 on power plays during the two games. In the Second game Brian matched her season high of forty saves. Rounding out the awards for the week is defensive player of the week, Jennifer Friedman of Providence College. Friedman scored a goal and added an assist in a 2-1 win at Maine. She finished the game six shots and a +2 rating. Friedman also added an assist and a shot in Monday's 3-2 loss.
