BTD Storyline: Becky Kortum and Sarah Erickson each recorded a Power play and even strength goal as the gophers cruised to the series sweep. Goldy was 2-2 on the Power Play in the game while the Mavs were 0-3.

Jenna Hendrikx put the Purple Eagles up midway thru the second period and the lead held until late in the game when RPI engineered a last ditch scoring chance resulting in Clare Padmore tying the game with less than a minute to play.

BTD Storyline: In a second even battle this one stayed 0-0 until late in the third period. In this rematch Kristen Jakubowski put the Engineers up 1-0 with 25 seconds remaining on Kristen Richards hooking penalty. Richards would make up for the ill timed deed assisting in Jenna Hendrikx's game tying goal just 1:40 after RPI took the lead. Once again overtime made no matter as this one ended in the same result as game one.
