Fans looking to pass some time until the official start of the 2010-2011 season can get their women's hockey fix this Friday night as the Carleton University Ravens battle with Team Norway live at 6:00pm ET in the Hockey One Challenge from the Carleton Ice House in Ottawa.

The game is the final stop for Norway as part of it's six game Canadian tour that features games with the Limoilou Titans, the Laflèche College Dragons, the Nepean Wildcats and the Ontario Hockey Academy before wrapping up their tour at Carleton’s Ice House.
Carleton who finished last season 8-12 in QSSF league play and will be without Claudia Bergeron the teams leading scorer from last season who was injured during the offseason. This will also be the first game action for new additions Jasmine Lévesque(D) of the Balmoral Hall Blazers, Tamber Tisdale (G) and Roberta Carson (D) of the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame Hounds, Alex Yallouz (F) of the Vancouver Fusion, Olivia Sutter (F) of the Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs, and Veronic Auger (F) from John Abbott College.
For fans counting down the days until the official start of the 2010-2011 season this may be the fix your looking for, and for other that are not regular viewers of the CIS, consider watching a taste of CIS hockey meets mid level IIHF action.
