Last night former Wisconsin Badger and current Team USA goalie Jessie Vetter was named the National Sportswoman of the year. The award recognized Vetter for her accomplishments with both the U.S. Women's National Hockey Team and the University of Wisconsin women's hockey team. Jessie is the first ice hockey player to receive the international award, which is determined via fan vote.
